Stress Relief with Yoga
This interactive workshop will
discuss stress, how stress impacts the mind, body and spirit, various ways
individuals typically handle stress and offer yoga as an alternative to
handling stress in a healthy manner. Additionally, we will explore the eight
key aspects of yoga and the importance of breathing (pranayama).
Participants
will learn how to breathe correctly, how breath impacts our emotions and how
to use the breath to alleviate stress. Afterwords, enjoy a calming, meditative
yoga practice highlighting yoga postures that are helpful in stress relief.
